Flyaround is about the passion for flying. We launched this orgnization in 2020 because we believe that many of us share the dream of taking flight and leaving all worries behind for a few hours around Cluj and beyond. Our bases are located at Aerodrom Dezmir, Cluj and Ineu, Oradea.
People who fly with us have access to modern aircraft suited for various missions. Whether you want to learn to fly or gain more experience, our club provides certified instructors to help you develop your flying skills.
Have you decided to become a private pilot of ultralight aircraft or planes? We can help you determine which license best suits you. By becoming a member of our club, you’ll have access to certified instructors ready to help you fulfill your dream of flying. You can be trained according to national and European standards and gain flight experience with access to a wide range of modern, well-maintained aircraft.
Whether you obtained your private pilot license with our club or earned your flying rights elsewhere, we provide a place where you can enhance your piloting skills. We offer specialized support in an organized setting tailored to your needs on various topics:
Fly for Pleasure! They say that the process of learning to fly can be challenging and sometimes frustrating. However, the obstacles you overcome make you a better person—more disciplined, with a sharper, more focused mind, both in the air and in daily life. Flying can help disconnect you from everyday problems, and as a result, we see club members eager to spend their free time fully savoring the joy of safely landing before the sun sets on another day.
There are several types of sports competitions governed by the FAI (www.fai.org) under the FAR umbrella (www.federatiaaeronautica.org). We established ourselves as a flight club and gained accreditation for sports activities with the hope that our club members would also dedicate themselves to competitive flying. We aim to participate in as many competitions as possible, both locally and internationally.
General aviation (which includes ultralight aircraft) can also be used for longer trips with friends. However, there are many limitations within general aviation, and often there is confusion regarding the safety of a commercial flight versus a private flight in a small aircraft.
With proper flight planning, the necessary skills developed over time, and consideration of all limitations, a private pilot can travel long distances, experiencing unforgettable moments along the way.
Flyaround organizes annual club trips to various locations across Europe that you can participate in too!
